Confusingly there are 2 beaches on the island with the name St George.One in southwest Corfu and this one on the northwest tip of the islands near the village of Pagi, therefore frequently refferred to as St George Pagi. The resort has one of the best beaches in Corfu, offering a 2 mile stretch of golden sand with crystal clear blue sea. Being enclaved between two large mountains one at each side ensures spectacular views within walking distance.This is the prefect place for enjoying an unspoilt area of Corfu away from crowds and having a relaxing holiday.

There is also a disco club open during the weekend from June-September.If you fancy something more lively Sidari is only 15 minutes away by car.
The resort provides a number of facilities for watersports including canoeing, wind surfing, parachuting, jet skiing. If you would like to explore Corfu further you can always rent a car,a scooter
or a bicycle.You can also book boat trips at the local tourist agencies some departing from St George (to Paleokastritsa) or Corfu town (to Mainland Greece or Albania).
You can visit Corfu town, 45 min away by bus, using public transport Monday to Saturday.The bus departs at 10 am and returns at 5pm. The bus stop is 2 minutes walk from the apartments.For the latest timetable please visit the Corfu bus timetables here.
If walking is your hobby then this is one of the best areas in Corfu given the spectacular views you can enjoy not very far from the beach.
These are the views from the walk towards the village of Makrades,this is a 2-2 1/2hours walk each way.A 12th century castle known as 'Angels Castle' is located at the vilage of Krini a further 15 min walk away from Makrades.A couple of restaurant bars provide food and refreshments at both villages.It is recommended that you take plenty of fluid with you as it can get pretty hot especially during early afternoon.
