Confusingly there are 2 beaches on the island with the name St George.One in southwest Corfu and this one on the northwest tip of the islands near the village of Pagi, therefore frequently refferred to as St George Pagi. The resort has one of the best beaches in Corfu, offering a 2 mile stretch of golden sand with crystal clear blue sea. Being enclaved between two large mountains one at each side ensures spectacular views within walking distance.This is the prefect place for enjoying an unspoilt area of Corfu away from crowds and having a relaxing holiday.
Going Out
The resort has a number of restaurants and tavernas where you can enjoy Greek food.Why not try traditional Greek food in Ammos restaurant below our flats.
If you fancy something more lively Sidari is only 15 minutes away by car.

For those eager to explore the wonders of Corfu, you can easily rent a car, scooter, or bicycle. Additionally, local tourist agencies provide the opportunity to embark on captivating boat trips, with some departing from St. George (to Paleokastritsa) or Corfu Town (to Mainland Greece or Albania).
If you're interested in visiting Corfu Town, a short 60-minute bus ride away, you can conveniently utilize public transportation from Monday to Saturday. For enthusiasts of walking, this area of Corfu is a paradise, offering breathtaking views just a short distance from the beach.
Walk Views
These are the views from the walk towards the village of Makrades,this is a 2-2 1/2hours walk each way.A 12th century castle known as 'Angels Castle' is located at the vilage of Krini a further 15 min walk away from Makrades.A couple of restaurant bars provide food and refreshments at both villages.It is recommended that you take plenty of fluid with you as it can get pretty hot especially during early afternoon.
